Bentley Lewis – executive recruitment and interim management

Lewis is the founder of Bentley Lewis. He focuses on senior level executive assignments in Financial Services, with a particular focus on corporate governance, risk management, internal audit and compliance.

Lewis previously ran the corporate governance practice at a niche consultancy where he worked exclusively on senior level assignments within the insurance and investment management sectors. His deep network and long term relationships have delivered an exceptional track record of success and value to clients.

Lewis has a BSc in Chemistry from The University of Birmingham and started his career in sales and marketing in the manufacturing sector. He is also the co-founder of Fishtank Festival, a multi-disciplinary urban arts festival.

Gilbert is a senior consultant at Bentley Lewis. He specialises in Chairman, CEO, COO and Non-Executive Director appointments with a particular focus in banking and insurance.

Gilbert was a Director at Marsh for 10 years and worked in risk and control at Equitas. He is currently the Chairman of the local scout group and a Lay Preacher in the United Reformed Church.

Gilbert is FCA and MIIA qualified.

Rebecca leads Bentley Lewis Projects which specialises in sourcing IT and business change professionals in the financial services sector. Assignments include delivering permanent and interim resource.

Rebecca’s prior experience includes leading the Change and IT division at a niche consultancy placing executives in to insurance companies and investment management firms.

Rebecca has a BScEcon (Hons) in International Relations from The University of Wales, Aberystwyth. To relax, she enjoys horse riding and running.

Louisa is a research associate at Bentley Lewis supporting searches across the financial services sector.

Louisa is currently studying for an MSc in Occupational Psychology, having previously studied Psychology at Bristol University.

In her spare time Louisa plays lacrosse and is the proud winner of the office baking competition!

Jeremy is a special advisory at Bentley Lewis. Jeremy has 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Jeremy was Chairman of Colemont Insurance Brokers Limited (CIBL), Managing Director of Heath Lambert Financial and Professional Indemnity ltd and served as Managing Director of Heath Risk Services.

Jeremy likes golf and spending time in Portugal with his family.

Patricia is the practice manager and responsible for making sure the whole operation runs smoothly by organising and supervising all the administrative activities. She is an expert manager and negotiator, a skill she picked up during her 25 years in teaching maths and psychology to secondary school students at Watford Grammar School for Boys.

Patricia has two children and loves going to art galleries, the theatre and getting out to the South of France to enjoy the sunshine as much as she can.
