A major NASDAQ listed healthcare firm asked us to work with them to find a European CFO based in London.
The team at Bentley Lewis have extensive experience recruiting senior finance professionals across Europe and understand the issues and dynamics involved in a search of this nature.
This position was a business partnering role for the European CEO and responsible for the entire European finance team of 12 CFO’s and their teams. Our client wanted someone who had working in a large US corporate and had managed a complex group of countries.
The team went to meet the client at their offices in London We spent time meeting the key stakeholders and team members. This enabled us to understand the culture of the organisation and take a full and detailed personal profile. We gained a great understanding of the technical requirements and was able to make an informed judgement on potential candidates’ fit with the organisation.
The team started by putting together a list of firms they thought candidates could be found in. Along with Bentley Lewis’s extensive database and network of contacts in the sector, an exceptional list of headhunted, interviewed and motivated candidates was presented to the client.
The client was presented with a shortlist of qualified and evaluated candidates to take through the next stage of the process. The team successfully managed the process and an offer was accepted by the clients preferred candidates.
We have had positive feedback from both client and candidate. The CFO has made a big impact on the organisation be introducing some new processes and efficiencies.
