The Client:

A Danish healthcare firm asked us to work with them to find a Managing Director for their UK subsidiary.

The Challenge:

To find someone with a proven track record of managing and running a similar business in the UK and Ireland.  The Managing Director will prepare annual budgets and provide leadership and development of the sales team, ensuring appropriate culture, performance and development plans.

Our Solution:

The team went to meet the client at our offices in London We spent time meeting the key stakeholders and team members. This enabled us to understand the culture of the organisation and take a full and detailed personal profile. Along with the client, we identified 5 key critical successful factors which we would test for during our Leadership Assessment.

The team started by putting together a list of firms they thought candidates could be found in. Along with Bentley Lewis’s extensive database and network of contacts in the sector, an exceptional list of headhunted, interviewed and motivated candidates was presented to the client.

The shortlist of 3 candidates were then put through our Leadership Assessment, which included personality and psychometric tests. We presented the client with detailed reports on each candidate which included key strengths, development areas and on-boarding advice.

The Result:

The client was presented with a shortlist of qualified and evaluated candidates to take through the next stage of the process. The team successfully managed the process and an offer was accepted by the clients preferred candidate.
