Industry is changing faster than ever, making it hard for people to keep up. As we get older and (according to some) more set in our ways, it becomes more important to make sure we keep ourselves informed, educated and sharp. This is easier said than done. According to LinkedIn, very few employees take advantage of optional learning and development opportunities offered by their employers, with most saying they don’t have the time to do so.
