The Client: Private Equity Firm
The Challenge: Our client asked us to hire an operating partner for their expanding operating team. They required a candidate from a top management consulting firm with experience in complex business transformation projects. Experience of working in an international context and business proficiency in at least 2 European languages was also a prerequisite for our client.
We sourced candidates using our extensive network, spoke with industry sources for referrals, and conducted fresh new research. We met each candidate to assess their experience and behavioural characteristics. We presented the client with a list of qualified candidates for them to take forward to the next stage.
Following an extensive seven round interview process consisting of a full day assessment, an online behavioural game and a final interview with the founding Partners, we placed a management consultant who speaks eight languages. Following this successful process, the client has engaged us in further searches for senior private equity professionals.
